Electrician
 
Will perform machine construction and wiring duties.  Will check out machines for proper connections and assist technicians and lead personnel as required during debug.
 
Location:  Rockford, IL
 
Hours & Shift:  First Shift oppty.  7am to 3:30pm.  Pretty regular overtime working until 5pm, and the occasional 1/2 day Saturdays.
 
Experience & Education:  High school diploma or equivalent.  Machine tool or related field experience. 
 
Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs on a repetitive basis.
  • Must have the ability to couch, bend and move around a machine as it is being built.
  • Must have the ability to complete entire application in English and engage in basic written English correspondence without assistance.
  • Must have own tools.
  • Ideal candidate should be able to read prints.
  • Must have panel wiring, panel building-machine wiring.
  • Very safety oriented. 
  • Any sort of technical degree-electrical tech. degree is a plus.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Must have closed toe/heel shoes/boots.
