Tiger - Small - Adult - Female - Cat - Eliza Doolittle
Description
Eliza was dumped at a shelter and scheduled to be euthanzied because she tested positive for feline aids. SAFARI took Eliza in. It was immediately apparent that Eliza had been severely neglected. She was emaciated and dehydrated. She was terribly underweight. Eliza has since flourished. Eliza's onceprominent back bone is now hidden under her beautiful fur. She has a thick, fat little tummy. Eliza's health is fine. She remains unaffected by her FIV positive status. The sad thing that her foster parents have noticed about Eliza, is that when she is spoken to or petted she stops immediately and looks at you as if she will be yelled at or hit. We understand that she came from a farm. It is more than just a guess that she was unloved there as she was starving but she was probably also yelled at and shooed away from things constantly as she still seems surprised when we kiss and coddle her.. Eliza craves attention and absolutely thrives on kindness. She is a true delight and now knows her name. She was named of course after Eliza Doolittle from the Audrey Hepburn movie, My Fair Lady. Eliza was once a breeding machine, neglected and probably abused on a farm. She has now blossomed into a grand lady who adores her foster family and foster cats and dogs. Eliza deserves to be queen of her castle in a forever home.
